I think it is a pain in the but the constant confusion people have with semantic web and semantics tasks in the area of NLP, like semantic search. It would be awesome to solve that massive cause of misunderstandings.

The definition of the new term in wikipedia: "Linked Data is a sub-topic of the Semantic Web. The term Linked Data is used to describe a method of exposing, sharing, and connecting data via dereferenceable URIs on the Web." So it seems it is not exactely the same. Too bad.
But Mr. Lee said:"Linked Data is the Semantic Web done as it should be.” So maybe (probably) this will become the popular term for the used to know "semantic web"; we are still not sure which term will prevail, we will discover it soon.

I wish there weren't two D's next to each other, but alright, I'm on board. Too bad linkeddata.com is such a joke. But I guess we have to move forward as this is an important revolution.
